Give your Sierra 1500 AT4X 6.2L engine performance and sound with this High Clearance Performance Cat-back Exhaust System from GMC. This Genuine GMC Accessories High Clearance, Performance Exhaust is designed specifically for the Sierra 1500 AT4X with dual exhaust and Short Wheel Base (SWB - Crew Cab, Short Bed). This factory option (WBC) Performance Exhaust kit is made from aircraft grade T-304 stainless steel with large front 3.5-inch and rear split 2.75-inch outer-diameter 304 stainless-steel pipes. This system provides a 40% reduction in back pressure which adds up to 13-hp at 5,600 rpm and up to 7 additional pound-feet of torque at 4,100 rpm over the production exhaust system. This bolt-on cat-back system includes everything required for a complete installation. Emissions-legal in all 50 states, this system will not void the New-Vehicle Limited Warranty when installed by an authorized GM dealership. The kit includes a front pipe assembly, GMC Performance Muffler, Y-Pipe Assembly, Cross Over Pipe, Right & Left Hand tail pipes, and five (5) wide band assembly clamps. The Front Pipe Assembly utilizes a factory catalytic convertor flange for factory fit. Direct Factory replacement that requires NO welding for installation and assembly. This exhaust upgrade is designed exclusively for the high clearance capability of the AT4X which utilizes an exhaust that ends high under rear bumper with unexposed exhaust tips.
